Official: Inter Sign Mancini
Inter Milan have officially completed the signing of Roma winger Amantino Mancini for €12.5million.
Mancini’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico was due to run out in 2009, and Roma were always certain to sell him this summer in order to avoid the risk of losing him on a Bosman next year.Inter and Roma have been involved in negotiations over the 28-year-old for quite some time now, and indeed last week it was all but confirmed that the player would be arriving at San Siro.
The transfer has finally been confirmed, with Inter agreeing to pay Roma a fee in the region of €12.5m.
Mancini, who becomes Jose Mourinho’s first senior signing since taking charge as coach, has penned a four-year contract until 2012, believed to be worth around €2.5m a year.The Brazilian has been signed specifically to fit into Mourinho’s preferred 4-4-2 formation, and will be officially unveiled today.
Mancini made 154 appearances and scored 40 goals for Roma between 2003 and 2008 after joining from Atletico Mineiro.
In other news Inter have tied young midfielder Francesco Bolzoni to a new four year deal at the club. The 19-year-old is highly rated, and even made a handful of appearances for the first team last season.

Amantino Mancini has been officially presented as an Inter player after completing his transfer from Roma today.
