Rapor Pemain Roma Giornata 1 : AS ROMA VS NAPOLI

Roma

Doni – 8.0: A fantastic performance by the Brazilian goal keeper, who made a whole host of world class saves, most notably the one-on-one save against Lavezzi in the second half that certainly kept his side in the game.

Cassetti – 6.0: Didn’t really put a foot wrong all match, but failed to have any major impact in the contest. Solid performance nonetheless.

Mexes – 7.0: Was brilliant at the back alongside his partner in crime Juan, as they were responsible for successfully closing down a high majority of the Napoli attacking plays.

Juan – 7.5: Similar to Mexes, simply superb all match. He receives a higher rating than his partner, simply due to the quality of some of his challenges throughout the contest, most of which were goal saving.

Riise – 6.0: A respectable debut game for the former Liverpool man, who should be pleased with his performance. Made some impressive runs, and worked hard all match, before being substituted midway through the second half.

De Rossi – 8.0: Superb start to the new season for the stand in captain today. He was his brilliant self, controlling the midfield, and setting up the large majority of Roma’s attacking plays. A wonderful assist to his good friend Aquilani, capped off a great game.

Pizarro – 6.5: Was his usual self today, but wasn’t as spectacular as some of his teammates were. Did the basics, and didn’t put a foot wrong all day.

Cicinho – 5.5: Worked hard all day, but failed to significantly impose himself in the match in any way. Like most of the other players on the park, he didn’t really do much wrong, he just wasn’t as influential as others.

Aquilani – 8.5: Without doubt the man of the match in this contest. Scored one, and could have scored many more. Got in the right positions all match, and was involved in most of his side’s quality chances. Great performance by the young Italian.

Baptista – 6.5: Similar to Riise, Baptista should be pleased with his first game in the Roma colours. He was fantastic at times, in particular early in the first half, and despite fading out of the match a little prior to being substituted, he will certainly be a crucial player to the squad this season.

Vucinic – 7.0: After a slow start to the contest, Vucinic was simply superb in the latter stages. When the going got tough, he was the man to step up and keep his side in it. Great effort and work rate all day.

Subs: Menez 6.5, Tonetto 6.0, Okaka 6.0
